Position: Continuing Care Assistant (CCA)

Type: Casual

Position Scope:
The CCA assists residents with personal care and support services. To assist directly in providing security and safety for residents while working as a multidisciplinary team member in our long term care setting. Works under the supervision of the Charge RN and the Director of Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an approved Continuing Care Assistant program with certificate or equivalent training.
• Physically able to perform and complete assigned tasks in conscientious and timely manner while maintaining a good attendance record.
• Demonstrated ability to take direction and accept accountability for actions taken.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Geriatric experience preferred.
